L.O.V.E? [Oneshot]

"I thought you wasn't coming" Nicki opened the door wider and there he was leaning against the door frame.

"Well I'm here now" He stood up straight and licked his lips at her.

One year earlier

"So what is it exactly?" Nicki asked, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.

"It's a site where you talk to strangers" Lauren said.

"But why would I want to do that?"

"Cause its fun so come on"

"Fine" Lauren went onto the website and clicked onto the text chat.

You're now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!

Stranger: ASL?

The most common approach to find information about someone. Age. Sex. Location.

You: Excuse me?

"Nicki just answer him"

"Nah, that's kind of personal" She moved the mouse and hovered it over the disconnect button.

"Don't press it!" Lauren warned. Nicki clicked it and smirked at her.

Stranger: Hi

You: Hey

Stranger: How are you? :)

You: Good I guess, you?

Stranger: Fine, this site is so stupid. Don't know why I let my friend force me to go on this shit

"See even this guy or girl thinks this is stupid!"

You: same here! Gosh, friends can so... Ergh sometimes

Stranger: I totally understand :)

"I saw that you know" Lauren side eyed her.

"It's getting late, maybe you should go home"

"Whatever, see you later" A quick hug and she was gone.

Stranger: Tell me a bit about yourself and vice versa?

A little about myself, won't hurt right? She thought as she typed.

You: My name's Onika, I live in NY and I'm currently a senior.

Stranger is typing...

Stranger: I bet you're as beautiful as your name is ;)

Stranger: Sorry if that came off creepy. Moving on... My name's Aubrey and I'm in college

Two hours later and they were still talking to each other.

Stranger: Well I've got to go but I'd like to talk to you still but I don't think we could find each other again

You: Well what about Skype or something?

Stranger: Alright, my name on there is canadianchoc

You: Omg, you're a girl?

Stranger: Nah I'm a guy. Is that bad? :/

Oh no, what a great way to ruin a good conversation. The thought appeared in her mind.

You: No, the name seems kinda girly no offense aha

Stranger: I get you, well I've got to go but chat you later :)

You: Bye :)

Your conversational partner has disconnected.

3 months later

Looking through his contacts to see who was online, her name was there telling him she was. With a smile on his face, he called her. A few seconds later, her happy face appeared on the screen.

"Aubrey!" She smiled.

"Hey, how's everything going?" He smiled back.

"Good, actually. Kind of stressing over school but I'll be fine"

"Aww baby, you're super duper smart. You'll do great"

Over the last 2 months they had become super close, best friends if you want to put it that way. 

"Hmm, you're too sweet. Anyways, you okay?"

"Great now that I'm talking to you"

She blushed. "Shut up"

3 months later from the last time (6 months)

"How's Atlanta?"

"Rubbish. I don't even see why we had to move" Nicki frowned and crossed her arms.

"It can’t be that bad"

"You don't live here! I was fine where we were before, like who moves to another school 3 months before they're supposed to graduate? Wish my dad never accepted the offer. It's a good job I was on track with my studies because.... ergh. Enough about me, how's college life?"

"Good. Been focusing more and that, the norm"

"Can you believe we've know each other for half a year?" 

"Why can’t you just say 6 months like normal people?"

"Because I’m not normal"

"I figured that out a while ago"

"I don’t whether to take offense to that or not"

"Nope you shouldn't"

"So I got a surprise for you"

"Ooh what is it?"

"So you know how I was applying for colleges and that, I found this art school."

"And that's a surprise for me because..."

"I have a meeting with them and I'm spending three days in New Yorkkkkkk"

"So we can finally see each other?" Drake grinned.

"Yep. I can finally kiss you and hug you and," Nicki stopped herself and looked at him with wide eyes.

"You want to kiss me?" He smirked.

"Well yeah" She blushed. "You know more about me then anyone. I feel like I can be real with you, no pretending. I've fallen in love with you and I know we haven't known each other that long but...  I think" After a deep breath, she said the next part quickly. "I love you"

"You what?"

"I love you" Nicki looked down at her phone and replied to a few texts to avoid eye contact. Taken by surprise Drake took a while to respond, but by doing that he gave the wrong message. 

He opened his mouth to speak and was met by a blank screen. 

Call disconnected.

He knew he must have upset her, she never ended a call without saying bye. His phone beeped alerting he had a message, unlocking it he saw it was an email from Facebook telling him Nicki had updated her status.

Spilling out your feelings and then being rejected is the worst thing ever

Not wanting to let everyone know he was the reject-or, instead of commenting on it Drake sent her a text.

Aubrey: I'm sorry. Text me back x

Checking the time, he noticed it was pretty late so he got ready and went to bed. The next morning, he woke with a text from her. 

Onika: No, I'm sorry. I probably just complicated things between us. I don't know what I was thinking.

Aubrey: I want to say something to you. I'll call you on skype...

He put his phone down and loaded up his skype.

3 more months later (9 months)

"We've been talking for ages, you know"

"And after all this time you couldn't tell me how bad I looked"

"You don't look bad, you look so pretty"

"Correction, ugly"

"I would never date someone who's ugly" He chuckled.

"That is so rude!" Nicki told him. "No one is ugly. They're just beautiful in their own way"

"Calm it, I was just joking"

"You shouldn't joke about stuff like that"

"I'm sorry. Do you forgive me?" Drake looked at his camera with puppy eyes.

"Yes, just because I like you"

"Aww I like you too" He winked.

"Well I would love to talk to longer but I'm really tired" After she said it, she yawned.

"Well go to sleep, we'll talk tomorrow"

"Goodnight" She blew a kiss and was about to disconnect but was stopped.

"Don't turn it off, I want to watch you sleep" Nicki rolled her eyes and moved her laptop from where it was so she could lie down. Getting comfy under her covers, she closed her eyes and within minutes was fast asleep snoring lightly. 

Drake watched as she slept, taking in her appearance. She had the cutest little pout on her face, he always thought she had nice looking lips. He soon felt himself becoming tired.

"Sweet dream princess" He whispered before falling asleep himself.

A week before they meet

"You're packed already? You must be eager to see me"

"I like to be organised and this way I won’t be running around like a maniac. I'm not eager to see you, I'm eager for this audition"

"Really?"

"Yes really, this could make or break me"

"You'll do fine though, promise"

The meeting

Nicki had been waiting outside a hot dog stand in Times Square for an hour and there had been no sign of Drake anywhere. After another 10 minutes of waiting and looking up and down the street, she hailed a cab and went back to her hotel. While she was in the cab, she called Lauren.

"He didn't show up"

"Aww babe"

"Maybe I was just getting my hopes up"

"Well fuck him, you went to audition so just focus on that"

"A-alright I’ll do that"

"Call me later okay, love you"

"Love you too" Nicki ended the call and leaned back. The cab brought her back to her hotel and she went straight up to her suite. She opened her suitcase, took out her clarinet and practiced the tune she was going to do. About 30 minutes later, she decided she would have an early night. She took off her dress and set it down on the chair as she was about to take off her heels, someone knocked on the door. Without putting on her robe, she opened the door slightly and standing on the other side was Drake.

"Oh my God"

"I'm really sorry I'm late, I got held up"

"I thought you wasn't coming" Nicki opened the door wider and there he was leaning against the door frame.

"Well I'm here now" He stood up straight and licked his lips at her.

"You're even better looking in person... I really don't know what to say"

"You don't have to say anything" Drake walked towards her and kissed her. She deepened it and pushed the door close with her hand. Everything happened so fast: She pulled his shirt over his head before kissing him again, he unhooked her bra and it fell to the ground, she pulled her panties down and let them drop as well. They span around widely kissing and Nicki pushed him down on the bed.

The next day

Drake woke up first and looked around at his surroundings. He was confused until he remembered the night before. Nicki was facing him still fast asleep, he brushed her hair out of her face and ran his fingers through her wild hair. Her eyes fluttered open.

"Good morning" Drake smiled.

"Good morning" She said back before yawning. "What time is it?"

He looked at the clock. "Almost 11am"

"Shit!" Nicki jumped up and ran to the bathroom. She came out 10 minutes later and quickly dried herself and got dressed.

"Why you hurrying?"

"My audition is in 10 minutes, I'm going to be late" She brushed her hair and pulled it into a ponytail. "Will you be here when I get back?"

"Yeah"

"I'll see you in a bit" Nicki grabbed her handbag and raced out the door. 

Just over an hour later, the hotel door opened and she walked in with a sheet of paper in her hand. Drake was now dressed and was laying on his back. Nicki jumped onto of him.

"Damn girl, you scared me" 

"Sorry but looks you'll be seeing me a lot more, I got in!" She smiled.

I was watching that movie 4.3.2.1 and it inspired me to write this oneshot.
